The intention of this report is to provide a good general overview of the SIS situation in Poland, including public engagement in science, different models and use of scientific advice and expertise for policy-making, activities related to assessment and ethical issues of science and technology, SIS research activities and scientific culture as well as trends, policies, actors and activities. The report will be updated twice during 2011.
